Public sector employers attending include Cheshire Police, Warrington and Halton NHS Trust, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service, the British Army and the Department for Work and Pensions.

The local education sector will be represented by institutions such as UTC Warrington, Priestly College and Vale Royal College. Other big names include Amazon, Royal Mail, United Utilities, Guide Dogs, Live Wire, Torus, Gulliver’s World and many more.

Mr Carter MP said: “I’m really excited that we’ve got such a fantastic group of local employers attending my jobs and apprenticeships fair this Friday. There’ll be a wide range of businesses coming from lots of different sectors including logistics, healthcare, nuclear and engineering.

“This is a totally free event for anyone looking for work or wanting advice on future career options, apprenticeships and courses, so make sure to come along between 10am and 2pm on Friday at the Parr Hall in the town centre. It could be a life-changing opportunity.”
