WARRINGTON Wolves welcome to The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Saturday a side currently enduring the worst form in Super League.

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats arrive for a 1.30pm kick off on the back of seven successive defeats, having started the season with back-to-back wins.

They have, however, outscored Saturday’s hosts, who are the current lowest scorers in Super League with 155 points, and did put 22 points on league leaders Leeds Rhinos on Monday.

Wakefield’s losing run stretches back to defeat against Widnes Vikings on March 1 and includes losses to St Helens, Salford, Huddersfield, Wigan and Catalans.

It will be the first time Richard Agar faces the club he used to manage as part of Wolves’ coaching staff, with Wakefield running out 40-26 winners in this fixture last year having recently appointed current head coach James Webster.

Chris Riley, on loan from Warrington at the time, scored a hat-trick against his parent club that day before signing for the Yorkshire outfit in the off-season.

The winger is the visitors’ top try scorer this season with six, more than any current Wolves player, closely followed by stand-off Jacob Miller on four.

Webster has also added, among others, Catalans pair Mickael Simon and Lopini Paea this year.
