ASHTON Sims will begin training with his new Warrington Wolves teammates on Monday.
The 29-year-old prop, signed from North Queensland Cowboys, arrived in England this week and headed over to Wolves’ Padgate base for a light session on Wednesday.
However, Tony Smith has his side back in proper pre-season training from next week.
Fiji captain Sims said: “There was an optional session so I thought I’d go in and meet some of the guys.
“Pre-season is never easy. It’s always going to be tough and I expect nothing different over here. It’s where you earn the respect of your teammates and go through the hard grind together – it puts you in good stead for the year.”
