A MAN has appeared in court facing charges over alleged sexual communication with a child in Northwich.
Kieran Mark Thomas, of Blackhurst Road in Lydiate, Merseyside, has been charged with making an indecent photograph of a child on March 1 in Northwich.
The 27-year-old has also been charged with engaging in sexual communication with a girl under the age of 16, also in Northwich, between November 22, 2019, and January 18 this year.
He entered no plea for either charge at Chester Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, August 26.

Magistrates agreed that the charges were not suitable for a summary trial and the matter was sent to Chester Crown Court, where Thomas will next appear on Wednesday, September 23.
