I WOULD love to know the logic behind many car parks in Northwich having a two-hour limit.
I have just been fined £70 for parking at Sainsbury’s for two hours and 47 minutes after spending nearly £60 in the store.
Obviously I spent some time in the store then I decided to go into Northwich where I spent more money.
I then went into the lovely Poppy Rose Teashop where I enjoyed a very pleasant cup of coffee.
Inadvertently I had gone over my two hours!
Are people supposed to know in advance how long they are going to take over their shopping or do we have to move our cars around all the time?
Many people I know will not even come into Northwich because of the traffic problems so I think someone should give some serious thought to encouraging people to shop in Northwich rather than deterring them.
