MAY Appleton was ‘a hoarder’ which is a mental health problem called syllogomania.
May and her family had never harmed anyone.
The rent in their Weaver Vale Housing Trust property was paid up to date.
May’s tenancy had stretched through 61 years, which gave her the right to buy her home for a much reduced rate.
I would appeal to Weaver Vale Housing Trust to proceed with the sale and remove the barriers to the remainder of the family’s return to their home.
