Public holiday
DEAR Mr Osborne, Observing that our outgoing prime minister had the assistance of the outgoing president of the United States to justify his coercion of our democracy to be swung in his preferred direction, it would be appropriate that, if his efforts failed, June 24 will be declared United Kingdom Independence Day and become a public holiday.
This would be to celebrate the recovering and retention of our democracy and sovereignty.
