HAS planning in mid Cheshire gone completely mad?

I lived in Davenham for many years and have seen many planning applications and residential building in that time.

I have never seen a building project like the one that has been passed and is now being built off the Manchester/Chester bypass at Davenham.

It has every possibility of being a complete disaster.

This section has always been a fast part of the bypass and is now going to have traffic lights and a pedestrian crossing over both carriageways.

In the four miles from Rudheath roundabout, Davenham, there will be traffic lights at Roberts bakery, a roundabout at Davenham, traffic lights at the new development, traffic lights at Harford, traffic lights at Sandiway and traffic lights in Oakmere. What chaos will that cause in peak times of traffic?

#There cannot be those many houses built on that land so what is planning doing letting this plan go through when there are numerous other planning proposals much better than this development.
