BOVIS Homes applied for ‘temporary’ closure of Public Rights Of Way on the Beehive Lane development Moulton.

No notices were posted by the council and the planning site was far from clear on the routes, decision date and date that objections to the application were due. I rang the planning department and was told July 28 was the closing date.

On the afternoon of August 7 notices were posted on Beehive Lane and School Lane, that paths 3 ) sj 65976967 Beehive Lane to Dairy Farm and 2 ) sj 65546980 Beehive Lane to School lane were closed from August 1. The notices are dated July 1.

I think you need no further proof of the contempt that Moulton residents are held in by the council.

One of the paths said to be still available for use, is blocked by a fallen tree and vegetation, only to be navigated by the very fit.

The national planning inspector, in his appeal document P 50 states that access should be maintained throughout the construction period. I am sure with his wealth of knowledge and experience he considered H&S whilst coming to his decision.
