SINCERE thanks to Andrew Simpson and the Guardian and those from our council for your coverage of the recent semi final in our Mid Cheshire DFA Senior Cup – Witton Albion v 1874 Northwich.
The match was great advert for the competition and your highlighting of the importance of the competition over the past few weeks has helped to draw the public’s awareness to its importance within the local football calendar.
Hopefully the Winsford United v Northwich Victoria which was played last night provided an equally entertaining game.
We do not have a date yet for the final but I am hoping this can be resolved for the match to be played over the next few weeks.
