LIKE all new buildings, the monstrosity in the middle of Northwich requires a suitable nickname.
I have seen it referred to as a Lego Box and a Rubik’s Cube.
However, to me, the building has the appearance and proportions of a large sardine tin. This nickname is singularly appropriate in view of the number of swimmers the council will be packing into a rather small pool.
