THE Poppy Appeal 2013/14 was a huge success for the Northwich Branch of the Royal British Legion.
The amount raised so far is a fantastic £19,292.51.
We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to all the people of Northwich who donated to this very worthy cause and to all the businesses, volunteers and collectors who assisted or gave freely of their time.
With the ongoing conflict in Afghanistan, the demand on our many welfare services to assist our Armed Forces past and present and their families is sadly high.
The Poppy Appeal funds this vital work which the Legion does and support such as yours is crucial to our fundraising during the few weeks of Remembrance tide.
I hope we can continue to depend on your wonderful support.
