TOMORROW, November 15, we are all expecting to vote for our Police Commissioner for Cheshire to try and make it a safer place for all.
Reading about the five candidates, it’s the same old hot air they come out with. I believe this is another job for the boys. It’s not the police who need changing, it’s the politicians in Parliament.
All serious criminals now have the ace up their sleeves, it’s called the pathetic Human Rights Act.
The Police Commissioner will not make any difference to crime levels in Cheshire or anywhere else. It’s the Government again passing the buck should crime levels rise. This is all about making it a safer place for us all so they tell us. I would rather have someone like RoboCop. He would do a far better job than any of the five candidates. He offers a deterrent and punishment and doesn’t give out human rights to serious criminals.
