ROB Hopley scored a decisive goal to help Witton Albion close in on the play-offs places following a 2-1 win at Lincoln United on Tuesday.
He netted for the 16th time this term on 68 minutes, replying almost instantly to Jack McGovern’s leveller for the home team.
Bradley Bauress had put Carl Macauley’s men in front early in the first half.
It leaves Witton a single point adrift of the top five in the Northern Premier League’s Division One South.
A trip to in-form Basford United, victors in six of their past seven matches, follows on Saturday, kick off 3pm.
