TOP House Villa collected their first points of the season in the Mid Cheshire Sunday League’s Premier Division following a 2-1 win against Broadhurst.
Mike Edwards scored a winning goal for the Winsford-based outfit.
Elsewhere Sean Tierney, Terry Cain and Paul Came bagged a brace apiece as Pockets put 10 goals past Gate, while leaders Old Star proved too strong for Davenham Athletic, winning 2-0.
In Division One, Mark Grocott’s hat-trick was a highlight for Myprotein.com as they hit the net 13 times without replay against Cricketers Arms.
Greg Lumsden’s treble helped Saxons squeeze past Broken Cross by the odd goal in five, while Stephen Osborne hit three for Winsford Golden Lion against Moulton Verdin.
