OULTON Park duo Danny Leech and Nathan Dumelow have kept their places in the Cheshire squad for their final Minor Counties Championship match this weekend.

The defending champions host Shropshire at Whitchurch Cricket Club from Sunday.

They will hope to end the season on a high after snatching a six-run win over Wales at Swansea earlier this month to pick up their second win of the campaign.

Captain Andy Hall said: "We've played really well in our past two games, so it would be great if we can continue that form into the Shropshire match.

"It was always going to be tough to defend the title, but we're building for the future and in the next couple of years I can see us winning the championship again."

Cheshire have drawn two and lost one of their other matches with rain ending their chances of victory in the opening two fixtures of the campaign.

Devon have already won the Western Division having won all five of their matches so far.
