WINNINGTON hosted a newly promoted Tattenhall on Saturday.

Captain Bryan Shingler again lost the toss and Tattenhall decided to bat first on a good batting track.

The visitors started batting badly and collapsed to 25-5 from their first 16 overs, pace bowlers Norman and Shingler ripping through the top order.

Norman took 3-24 and Shingler 2-28.

Tattenhall then got to grips with the Park bowling and put together a bit of a partnership and moved the score onto 100-7.

Jas Hayes and Ian Connors then came into the attack and cleaned up the Tattenhall tailenders.

Tattenhall finished on 146 all out from 49 overs.

With the small but tricky total, Park knew that some concentration and hard work would see them through and it was Greg McKeown who did just that.

Mckeown, well supported by Spibey and the hard hitting Amatiello, saw the game home.

He hit his first 50 of the new season finishing on 77no and Amatiello 31no.

Points: Park 25 and Tattenhall 7.
