SKIPPER Mark Osborne won the toss and elected to field first, hoping to be able to restrict the Trafford batsmen.
Slow bowlers Danny Hancock (2-56) and Phil Wingfield (3-35) did the majority of the bowling as the visitors reached 193-7 from their 45 overs.
This never appeared to be enough runs, and so it proved.
Darren Falland (51) joined Danny Gee at the crease after Phil Wingfield was out early on, and promptly set about the Trafford attack.
Gee, unphased by Fallands fireworks, continued in his usual effective, if unorthodox, manner batting through the innings and bringing up victory, and his century, by hitting a six to finish on 104 not out.
