Leaders Wharton Cons C were the top-scorers in Section Two, racking up 237 at home to lowly Hartford A.

Barnton Cricket Club A were one behind in beating Rudheath C, while Moulton RBL A lost at Hazel Pear A in the division’s match of the day.

Cuddington A remain without a win, their latest reverse inflicted by Castle Private C.

Hazel Pear B, winners at Crosstown B, continue to set the pace in Section Three.

Limes, who saw off Tarporley RBL A, are next best in the standings with Davenham B – who scored 231 at home to Wharton Rec – only eight points further back.

Bunbury squeezed past Comberbach C by a single chalk.

Winsford Cons B won a clash of the top two teams in Section Four, leaving Barnton Cricket Club B 80 points adrift in the table.

Moulton RBL B were the division’s leading scorers, making it to 244 against visitors Norley.

Hartford B’s third league victory of the season was hard-fought, edging Delamere by two marks.

Hop Pole B scored a full house to preserve their position at the top of Section Five.
