Match Pointers
NORTHWICH Victoria will hand a debut to on-loan midfielder Jonathan D’Laryea at Workington tomorrow, Saturday.

The Mansfield Town man joined up with Andy Preece’s men on Wednesday in a bid to improve his match fitness.

His arrival is a timely one as Michael Connor has been suffering with a virus, while Ian Herring serves the second of a three-matches suspension.

Preece is likely to be without Junior Brown (ankle) too, rating him as ‘less than 50-50’ to recover from an injury picked up against Solihull Moors earlier this month.

Vics will hope for better fortune than their previous visit to Cumbria during their last campaign in Blue Square North. They lost 5-2.

Reds are hoping to add Carlisle United front runner Andy Cook on loan before tomorrow’s clash.

Strike pair Gareth Arnison (thigh) and Jonny Wright (hamstring) are both rated as doubtful to face Vics, leaving manager Darren Edmondson short of firepower.

Stopper Kyle May is fit though after recovering from a head injury.

Workington have yet to win in front of their own fans this term, losing to Hinckley United on the opening day before sharing the spoils after a 1-1 draw with Harrogate Town.
