WHITBY must be sick of the sight of Adam Warlow.

The Witton hotshot hit another impressive treble to take his tally to eight in two matches against the hapless Seasiders - his second hat-trick inside a fortnight.

Jim Vince's men have racked up 15 goals in the same period.

The numbers roll off the tongue as the table toppers now have an eight-point advantage over nearest challengers Gateshead after picking up 35 points from the 42 available in their opening 14 matches.

And, finally, they've won 6-1 in their past two matches.

Witton's travelling throng did not have to wait long for the first goal as Warlow headed Mark Peers' centre home on the quarter hour.

Napping Whitby eventually got their act together and, when a cross from the right caught Cavell Coo napping, Karl Charlton nipped in to push the ball past Jon Kennedy.

Twice in a minute Warlow had chances to restore the lead when he headed over Rod Thornley's assist and then he placed a shot too close to keeper David Campbell from Dave MacPherson's through ball.

Albion owe a large favour to Jon Kennedy when five minutes either side of the interval he kept good Whitby efforts out.

His first save saw him go down smartly to block stand-in manager Danny Brunskill's snapshot before denying Michael Vickers by again blocking from point blank range.

Three minutes after the latter Albion were back in front.

Peers picked out Brian Pritchard who scored with a trademark header to open the floodgates.

Just after the hour Dillon dummied for Peers to lift a free kick over the wall and against the upright. Thornley rushed in to convert the rebound from close range.

Five minutes later it was 4-1 when Peers chipped the ball into the danger zone for sub Dean Crowe to produce a deft flick that needed a second touch to ensure the ball crossed the line.

Warlow converted another Peers assist to make it five, before repeating the trick from Crowe's pass to complete another impressive rout.
