BARNTON Wanderers climbed the Crewe and District League table after recording a third successive win.
They ran out 4-2 victors last Saturday against newcomers Clock Tower thanks to goals from Joel Hind, who netted twice, Kieran Wright and Alex Wilson.
Meanwhile substitute Karl Felton scored a decisive goal for Winsford’s Over 3 Grange in a Crewe and District FA Cup first-round clash with MMU Cheshire.
Winnington Avenue 1994 bowed out though following an 8-5 reverse at Mary Dendy after extra time.
The teams had shared 10 goals in 90 minutes.
