They have been paired with Hartford B, who play three tiers lower in the Mid-Cheshire Bowling Association, at Lostock.
Meadowbank B, from Section Five, are the lowest-ranked side in the first round.
They meet Owley Wood A at Davenham, where the underdogs start the contest with a 104-chalk handicap advantage.
Of the Premier Division outfits in action, two-time previous winners Frodsham Red Lion A take on Bunbury, from Section Three.
Rudheath A take on clubmates Rudheath B, promoted to the top-flight at the end of last season.
Spinner & Bergamot B will be attempting to upset Frodsham Red Lion C, teams that ended the 2015 campaign separated by 38 places.
All matches get underway at 6.30pm.
Holders Wharton Cons A, who beat Premier Division rivals Castle Private A in last year’s final, have received a bye to the second stage.
