Lostock Gralam 2 AFC Macclesfield 1
LOSTOCK proved their credentials as worthy Cheshire League Two leaders when they ended AFC Macclesfield's unbeaten start to the season on Saturday.
Captain Ryan Millington thumped home a powerful header to give the Grey Lambs a well deserved lead after some good wing play from Jonny Antrobus and cross from Matthew Griffiths.
Macclesfield equalised early in the second half against the run of the play when their attacker smashed home past the stricken Ben Crellin.
However the last laugh was for the hosts when player-manager Dom Johnson danced into the box to be hauled down by a defender and Millington stepped up to convert.
