STEVIE Stockton added another medal to her growing collection on Saturday.
The Vale Royal AC star finished second at the English National Cross Country Championships in Sunderland, leading the club's U20s girls team to third place overall.
It's the first time they've won a team prize at the event.
"What can I say?" said coach Shaun McGrath.
"I know of other clubs who have been coming to this event for hundreds of years and they've never won a single medal.
"For a club our size it's a tremendous achievement."
Stockton, 17, has been picked to run for Great Britain at the World Championships in Kenya on Saturday week, and she finished her cross country campaign in style at Herrington Country Park.
Charlotte Roach (11th), Kate Spilsbury and Rachel Clews played their part in helping Vale Royal clinch team bronze.
Other notable performances were Megan Huxley's 10th position in the U13s girls race, while Andy Clews finished a brilliant 34th in a tough U15s boys field.
"It's been one of our best cross country seasons for some time," said McGrath.
