NORTHWICH Amateur Swimming Club’s juniors recorded close to 250 personal best times between them during their annual Sprints gala at Moss Farm.

A total of 90 boys and girls participated.

Among the girls, there was a clean sweep of victories – backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and freestyle over 50m plus 100m individual medley – for Phoebe Bradshaw (under 11s), Alison Hutchinson (under 14s) and Abbie Jones (open age).

James Bell was fastest each time in the under 13s boys’ category, while Joe Korta won four of five finals in the open boys’ class.

Ben Scott (under 12s) and Daniel Skae (under 11s) did the same.

Jess Jones and Nick Law won the girls and boys’ skins competitions respectively.
