SAILING: Sam makes mark
SAM Clarke was the highest-placed finisher from Winsford Flash Sailing Club when it hosted the latest round of a Laser Grand Prix series.
He was third after three races on home water in conditions that changed throughout.
With each sailor’s two best results counting towards their points total, Clarke – with one second place and a third – trailed Patrick Hesten (Dovestone) and Isaac Marsh (Scammonden).
Sam’s dad Ian and Sandy Mill, Laser captain at Winsford, took part too.
