WITTON Albion will play in the South Cheshire Premier League’s second tier from September after finishing in a promotion position.
They won six of nine matches to place second behind champions Indigo in Division One, earning a place in the competition’s Championship section for next season.
The girls missed out narrowly last term after losing in a play-offs final against Star.
Cheshire Stars Pink, from Middlewich, and Winsford will both take part in the Division One play-offs semi finals for the current campaign next week.
