NORTHWICH Victoria fans are planning to mark their favourite club’s next birthday by inviting former players to an on-pitch party.

A supporters’ association team will take on one made up of familiar faces from Vics’ recent past in a one-off game at Griffiths Park, in Rudheath, on Sunday, May 18. Kick off is 5pm.

Among those asked to take part are goalkeeper Dean Greygoose, Football Conference North title-winners Chris Williams and Michael Carr, and FA Trophy finalists Derek Ward and Ian Cooke.

Phil Dowd, a match official in the Premier League, will act as referee.

Admission is via a donation of £5, with money raised from a raffle earmarked for St Luke’s Hospice.

For further details, e-mail association secretary Jason Dudley at secretary@nvsa.co.uk.
