RUDHEATH are the Northwich and District League Division One champions for a third year running after a 5-2 victory at Gladstone A, where Dean Mogford recorded his second maximum of the campaign.
Gladstone C all but secured the runners-up spot with a 6-1 win at Barn Owl D. Owley Wood A lost 4-3 at home to third-placed Gladstone B.
Green Dragon A beat fellow mid-table outfit Barn Owl C 5-2, while the relegation battle saw Bowling Green A win 4-3 at The Elms to go one point above bottom-placed Barn Owl B.
Hartford B remain 16 points clear in Division Two despite sitting out this week. Rivals Castle Private ran out 5-2 winners against neighbours Iron Bridge.
Bowling Green B enjoyed a 6-1 home win over Owley Wood C, but have played a game more than the top two.
Witton Chimes went 1-0 down but recovered to take the next six frames at Hartford A.
Owley Wood B lost by the odd frame at home to Wheatsheaf.
Chapels reclaimed top spot in Division Three thanks to a 4-3 win at Greenbank B and retain a game in hand on Lion, precariously placed in second as third and fourth have a game in hand.
Barn Owl E managed a 4-3 home win over Green Dragon B as Blue Barrel secured a 5-2 win at Beech Tree B, Chris Southerton potting all eight balls in a single visit for the home side.
Davenham Legion secured their first win in 10 league outings, the 5-2 victory coming against Beech Tree A.
