DARRYL Fallows makes his debut in the UK Pool Tour’s Premier League when the series starts at Blackpool today, Friday.
The Owley Wood star finished inside the final rankings’ top 10 last year, earning a place in the 16-strong competition for the current calendar campaign.
He faces Michael Hope, reigning champion in the World Eightball Federation’s under 21s category, in his opening match tomorrow, Saturday.
Fallows, victor of the Tour 4 event in 2013, is joined at the Imperial Hotel by Gladstone duo Adam Griffiths and Nicky Hubert, who take part in both the Tour and Challenge tournaments.
Debutant Hubert has been paired with Mark Bowen in the Tour’s preliminary round, while Fallows meets Warren Hodgson.
Griffiths, with a bye to the first round, is up against Ady Wood.
In the Challenge event Hubert takes on Wayne Corless in the first round, while James Silverwood provides the opposition for Griffiths.
