WINNINGTON Park recovered from a goal down to record a comfortable win at Northop Hall in North Men’s League Division Two West on Saturday.

The Welsh outfit took an early lead but Paul Stackhouse struck an emphatic equaliser after fine approach play from Mike Dodd.

Dodd then intercepted a pass out of defence, powering home a shot from the edge of the area.

Daniel Hilton’s pass presented Dodd with his second goal, and Stackhouse made it four before the break with a powerful flick.

Dodd completed his hat-trick after the interval with a close range finish, before the hosts added a late consolation.

Winnington face University of Liverpool at Moss Farm this Saturday, push back 2pm.

Park’s seconds recorded a one-goal home victory over Chester’s thirds in the North West League Division Four South, Mark Leigh their scorer.

They travel to Runcorn this weekend, push back 2pm.
