AT THE March meeting of the Wednesday club, chariman Heather Casson spoke about a forthcoming outing to Lichfield. She also invited members to afternoon tea at a local garden centre.
June Corner was the guest speaker and she entertained members with her talk ‘Naughty But Nice’, which entailed showing underwear through the ages bringing much laughter at what females and males had to wear in days gone by.
June accompanied the display with humorous anecdotes evoking amusing memories for many members.
The next meeting is on the April 8, when the guest speaker will be Brian Green on Gershwin.
