A MIDDLEWICH based subsidiary of one of the world’s three largest companies in power generating sets has appointed a new manager.

SDMO Energy Limited, the UK sales and marketing subsidiary of the power generation manufacturing giant, SDMO Industries, has appointed David Mallon to the position of general manager.

David will be managing the Standard Products Division and will be based at the offices in Aston Way.

He will be responsible for building growth in the company’s portable power, residential and rental products, working closely with his team of five regional sales managers.

Welcoming David to SDMO, Nick Bradshaw, SDMO Energy’s managing director said, “I am delighted to have secured the appoint of David, I am confident that his experience and in-knowledge of the portable generator market will drive the company forward to even greater successes.”

David has been working within the UK power generation markets for more than 25 years, with experience in both the manufacturing processes and the operation of portable and static power products.

“I am looking forward to working with the SDMO Energy team,” David said. “We have one of the most knowledgeable groups of the people in the industry.

“We have already begun developing a plan to retain and advance SDMO’s standing within the UK power industry, in allegiance with both our current dealers and rental firms.”

The company has a global distribution network in more than 180 countries. UK clients are serviced by SDMO Energy Limited operating from sites in Cheshire and Surrey.
