BOSSES in Northwich are in the running to be named North West Director of the Year.
The Institute of Directors has announced its finalists for this year’s awards, which include Mike Roberts, from Roberts Bakery, and Matthew Kimpton-Smith, from Cygnet Group, in Wincham.
A record 210 individuals from around the region were nominated for the awards, sponsored by Weightmans LLP, which recognise the achievements of the North West’s business leaders.
Following an intensive judging process, 30 directors have been selected across eight categories.
The winners will be announced at a gala dinner in September and will automatically be entered into the IoD National Director of the Year Awards.
Mike Roberts is in the running for Family Business Director of the Year and Matthew Kimpton-Smith is a finalist for Director of the Year for a Small and Medium Company.
