TWO teenagers charged in connection with the death of Ashley O’Brien appeared in court on Wednesday.
The two boys, aged 16 and 17, who cannot be named for legal reasons, had their cases adjourned by magistrates at Vale Royal Youth Court.
Former Verdin High School pupil Ashley was killed by a car as he walked home through Winsford Industrial Estate on January 31.
The pair were arrested just hours later and were charged in June.
The 16-year-old, thought to have been the driver, is accused of causing death by dangerous driving; causing death by driving whilst disqualified, causing death whilst uninsured and aggravated vehicle-taking resulting in death.
The 17-year-old is charged with allowing himself to be carried in a stolen vehicle when an accident occurred resulting in death.
He will appear at Chester Crown Court on Tuesday, September 8 and the 16-year-old will return to Youth Court on Wednesday, September 2.
