A NANTWICH couple are to appear on a special episode of BBC2s Dragons' Den today after their range of Caribbean Ready Meals has proved a hit across the country.

It has been more than a year since Mark and Elina Davis, who are joint owners of the Caribbean Food Company, originally faced dragons - Peter Jones, James Caan, Theo Paphitis, Deborah Meaden and Duncan Bannatyne.

They will now return to our screens tonight at 9pm, to discuss their success as part of Dragons' Den: The Dragons' Stories.

Mark and Elina were made a joint offer of £100,000 for investment in the Caribbean Food Company by James Cann and Duncan Bannatyne.

Since the original show was aired the business has gone from strength-to-strength with supermarket giant ASDA snapping up their range of ready meals.

Following Duncan Bannatyne's advice, the couple teamed up with one of the country's largest producers of ready meals, transferring production from their own kitchen in Cheshire to S&A Foods' factory in Derby, in order to meet increasing customer demand.

Commenting on his forthcoming appearance on the show, Mark Davis said: "Elina and I were delighted when the BBC called and invited us back onto the programme.

Since we were originally featured, the business has really taken off and we couldn't be happier that so many people are enjoying our food."
