Midfield schemer Byrom signed for a four-figure transfer fee from UniBond Division One North outfit Clitheroe in January.

Started his career with Blackburn Rovers after being spotted playing for home town team Oswaldtwistle United.
Graduated through the youth ranks at Ewood Park before his release in the summer of 2006 when he joined Accrington Stanley.
After only one league appearance he signed for Clitheroe at the beginning of last year before going on to finish as the team’s top scorer.
