England C international Tynan joined Vics on non-contract terms after severing ties with Blue Square Premier rivals Ebbsfleet United in October 2007.
The popular shot-stopper quickly ousted Ben Connett as Vics’ number one between the sticks following a string of outstanding performances, earning fans’ vote as Player of the Month for November and December.
His outstanding form earned him a recall to the national set up in May for the Home Nations tournament, joining the squad for their tour of the Caribbean that followed.
