CLASSIC Ibiza returns to Tatton Park with Balearic-infused dance music this summer.

This popular concert attracted 60,000 up and down the country last year.#

Headlined by the 32-piece Urban Soul Orchestra (USO), the event promises five hours of family fun on Saturday, June 29.

The show will once again be teaming up with Francis House Children’s Hospice which supports families across the north west.

This hospice cares for children with a short life expectancy, and their families, offering much needed respite care.

Francis House is free of charge to all who stay.

The charity needs £4.7 million a year and receives less than 12 per cent from Government funding which only pays for 42 days in the year.

Most of the funding for the other 323 days of the year to provide respite care, home care, end of life care, and bereavement and sibling support comes through charitable donations.

Kate Puc, from Francis House, said: “We are delighted to be on board again this year for Classic Ibiza at Tatton Park.

“Last year was spectacular and we raised around £2,000 on the evening.

“We are hoping that plenty of our supporters will come along and enjoy this fabulous event and help to raise vital funding for their local children’s hospice.”

Classic Ibiza raised £21,000 from last summer’s tour across the country and aims to donate even more funds for the local charities it is partnering with in 2024.

Classic Ibiza’s Lisa Ward said: “For the first time, we’re giving our Tatton audience the option of donating to Francis House when they purchase tickets from our website.

“Helping Classic Ibiza concertgoers to keep costs down is important to us, so unlike many promoters we don’t charge for parking and allow our guests to bring their own food and drink to our shows.

“If people can donate a fraction of these savings, I’m confident we can surpass last year’s total, assisting Francis House to continue the incredible work it does in the north west.”

Various fundraising initiatives will take place on the evening, including a £2.50 donation from every programme sold, a recommended £5 donation from press and guest-list entries, as well as collection points at all entry and exit gates.

Further funds will be raised at the Francis House shop, selling a range of fun merchandise.

The evening starts at 5.30pm with a vibe straight from one of Ibiza’s iconic beachside bars, before building to a magical alfresco nightclub by the time the concert finishes at 11pm.

Headlining the event is USO, known for their work alongside dance music greats like Groove Armada, Robert Miles and Nightmares On Wax.

They’ll be delving into house music’s rich catalogue with DJ Goldierocks, reinventing the most iconic tracks from the last 30 years.

Highlights include a DJ set by former Pacha Ibiza resident Jose Luis and an awe-inspiring laser and light show.
