A NORTHWICH woman and teenager have appeared in court accused of drug dealing offences.
Claire Gaunt, of Green Avenue, Barnton, appeared before Chester Magistrates on Friday, April 21, charged with possessing 2.2 grams of cocaine - a class A drug - with intent to supply it to others.
She is also charged with possessing 0.2 grams of cannabis, a class B drug.
Her co-accused, a teenager who cannot be named for legal reasons, is charged with the same offences.
The 46-year-old pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis, but entered no plea to the more serious charge of possession with intent to supply cocaine.
The youth pleaded not guilty to the cocaine charge and entered no plea to the cannabis charge.
The pair were given unconditional bail, and told to appear before Chester Crown Court on Friday, May 19, for a pre-trial preparation hearing.
