A suspected drug driver has been arrested after being stopped by motorway police.
The car was pulled over by officers patrolling the M6 earlier this morning.
The incident took place at junction 18, for Middlewich. The driver has now been taken to custody.
A spokesman for North West Motorway Police said: "A driver has been arrested on the M6 at junction 18 for drug driving.
"They will be spending the rest of the morning in police custody."
