A VANDALISED sign could soon be replaced with one that is more difficult to damage.
The Welcome to Davenham' sign in Kingsmead was bent and painted over by yobs last year but parish councillors hope to put it right for good.
Clr Chris Colclough said: "The sign is still bent, still vandalised and still looks messy.
"We should put this on the agenda to have it done and installed in a way that would eliminate the issue."
Councillors plan to discuss the sign at their next meeting, on February 25.
