RUDHEATH High School recorded another year of excellent results as the percentage of students gaining five or more A* to C grades increased.

Headteacher Mike Hayhurst congratulated all of the year 11 students on their achievements. He was also quick to acknowledge the commitment and skills of the teaching and support staff at the school.

Rachel Heckford, year 11 learning co-ordinator, said: "We are delighted for the students and are confident that they can now move on to attain even greater success."

The top performers at the school included head girl Jessica Butler, two A*s, eight As, two Bs and two Cs; Tuesday King, two A*s, eight As, two Bs and one C; Rebecca Skelhorn, three A*s, two As and four Bs; Elliot Poucher, three A*s, one A and six Bs; Alex Bailey, two A*s, three As, three Bs and two Cs; and Daniel Millington, five As, one B and four Cs.
