FIREFIGHTERS were called to a chimney fire at a farmhouse in Lach Dennis.
One fire engine was sent to the farmhouse in Hulse Lane at 7.38pm last night, Friday.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire Service said: “Firefighters responded to reports of a chimney fire at a farmhouse in Lach Dennis.
“They tackled the fire from the grate and used a thermal imaging camera to check that it hadn't spread into the attic. A safe and well visit was also completed before crews left.”
