Northwich man to appear in court following police car chase through Winsford
A NORTHWICH man who tried to outrun police during a car chase around Winsford, will appear in court next month.
At 1.05am on March 18, a car failed to stop for police in High Street, Winsford.
The car came to a stop in Road One. The driver fled the vehicle and following a short chase on foot, the driver was arrested by officers.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: "A 21-year-old man from Northwich was arrested and later charged with failing to stop, dangerous driving, drink driving, no licence and no insurance.
"He will appear at South and East Cheshire Magistrates Court on April 5."
