A CREATIVE writing workshop will take place in Northwich and Winsford on Friday.

The Write Time Write Place project is a series of eight-week adult creative writing courses taking place in libraries from October to December 2017.

The sessions will will focus on areas such as inspiration, characterisation, settings and plotting stories, revising and editing.

A workshop will take place at Northwich Library from 10am to 11.30am and from Winsford Library, from 1pm to 2.30pm.

Following on from the workshops, participants will be encouraged to finish their stories and submit them for a Write Time Write Place anthology, which will be professionally published and each course member given a copy.

Cheshire West and Chester Libraries will also keep copies for their lending collection.

Participants will also be given the opportunity to read extracts from their stories at an event at Storyhouse in Chester for World Book Day 2018.

A grant of £3,971 has been awarded by The Arts Council England’s National Lottery funded ‘Grants for the Arts’ programme.
