THE annual Darnhall Show, originally the Village Day, is growing in popularity each year and will be held this year on Sunday, July 9.

There will be a variety of stalls around the show, craft stalls, farmers market, Reaseheath College, Cotebrook Shire Horse, Morris Dancers, Harry Sharland family fun fair, Cheshire Wildlife Trust, St Lukes Hospice and many more.

There will, of course, be the ever-popular fun dog show, which last year saw 50 dogs taking part (entries on the day) with rosettes and a trophy for the overall winner. The Horse Fancy Dress Show is also back again this year with rosettes and trophies for winners.

The main event, however, is the crowning of the Darnhall Rose Queen, which will take place in the afternoon.
