A VOLUNTEER group is appealing to the public for help after an artwork installation disappeared from Marbury Country Park.
Friends of Anderton and Marbury has recently installed a number of metal silhouettes on the gates at the park’s entrance, but one appears to have been taken last weekend.
Chairman Alan Redley now wants residents to be aware of the silhouette if they spot it.
“We are disappointed at this mindless vandalism and hope that someone will recognise the sign and help to get it returned,” he told the Guardian.
“Someone might realise who has taken it, or they may see it if it goes up for sale, so we want to make people aware of it.”
The silhouette depicts a dog walker with their dog.
Anyone who sees the silhouette or finds it should contact the friends group by calling 01606 77741.
