ST Luke’s Hospice staff are inviting people to join them on the adventure of a lifetime by trekking the Great Wall of China.
The nine-day fundraising adventure will take place from October 13 to 21, 2018, the highlight of which will be a five-day guided trek along the 5,500 mile-long landmark.
Anyone interested in the challenge is invited to go along to an information evening at the hospice in Grosvenor Street, Winsford, on Thursday, July 13, from 6pm.
Debra Sloan, events fundraiser, said: “It promises to be an incredible trip of a lifetime. I’d like to urge people not to be put off by the minimum fundraising target of £2,900; at the information evening we will highlight the many ways that we can support people’s fundraising to ensure they easily reach their target, including guest speakers who have achieved fundraising targets for past events.”
